Consequently, you will find extensive know-how and experience in the development and manufacturing of components - and not least, wind turbine blade testing, as Aalborg accommodates the largest concentration of test facilities in the world as well as production facilities for both large scale projects and project sprints.

That's why we're located in Aalborg

I think there are three main aspects that are relevant for our location. First of all, we have the ports facilities needed to make our product and to ship them to a global market. Secondly, we have a supplier landscape here that is in close proximity to Siemes Gamesa. Thirdly, we have the competences here that we need to develop, manufacture and sell the products to a global market.

I think Aalborg as a hub is a very interesting region for wind power and renewable energy. We have some strong companies and a very strong university. On top of that, we have a lot of test facilities, both full scale in industry and downscaled at Aalborg University.

I would say the number one benefit is access to the open sea. From this location we have shipped out more than 2000 foundations for offshore windfarms to customers all over Europe and elsewhere in the world.

We have a very close cooperation with the university especially the Institute for Energy Planning. Another advantage for us is the very good infrastructure we have here in Aalborg.
