Newly built freight terminal saves over 2 years CO2 consumption by recycling materials
At the start of this year Port of Aalborg inaugurated a new freight terminal. During construction of the new terminal, surplus recycled materials were used, resulting in a significant CO2 emissions reduction of nearly 2,000 tons, equivalent to the total energy consumption of the port over two years.
